I know we haven’t updated in a while, but that is because we have been hard at work putting as many final touches on The Rock-A-Thon as we possibly can. We are booking flights, getting the shirts printed up, and we even secured an official hotel for The Rock-A-Thon’s cast members and we will even be able to extend the superior rates that we got to anyone wanting to stay downtown Houston durring the event! It is right around the corner from Meridian even! I promise I will share all these details more in depth as we count down the remaining weeks and days until we take the stage to benefit Child’s Play Charity!

The Rock-A-Thon is proud to welcome another special guest that will be joining our cast during the event. Robert “Prod1gy X” Paz.

A professional gamer of Empire Arcadia, Robert is a trend-setter in the world of professional gaming. After becoming a Pro Gamer at the age of 16, Robert wasn’t content to focus on one game, but instead, to master several. His motto “A New Breed of Gamer” sums it up; he combines a unique style with expertise in several game genres. Robert believes gamers should be active role models, and a positive influence in their communities.

Robert was featured on WCG Ultimate Gamer on SyFy, and was one of the final two contestants. He is a world record holder in Rock Band 2. Robert currently competes in Halo 3, Gears of War 2, Rock Band 2, Dance Dance Revolution, Project Gotham Racing 4, and many more.

We would like to thank Robert for joining the crew, and for his help to make this event a success. We are honored, and look forward to playing alongside him come November 27.
